The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers in Tucson to plan for the following restrictions on Interstate 10 between Kino Parkway and Alvernon Way, Nov. 30 - Dec. 6 for roadwork:
Lane Restrictions:

East-and-westbound Ajo Way between Bernard Drive and Kino Parkway/Ajo Way access road will be narrowed to one lane daily from 5 a.m. to 8 p.m., through the morning of Friday, Dec. 5. This is a recurring daytime restriction.

East-and-westbound Ajo Way between Bernard Drive and Kino Parkway/Ajo Way access road will be closed to through traffic nightly from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., on Monday, Dec. 1, through the morning of Thursday, Dec. 4. This is a recurring overnight closure. Access to businesses will be maintained at all times. Detours:
Drivers accessing eastbound Ajo Way should take Benson Highway south to Kino Parkway, then take Kino Parkway north to the Kino Parkway/Ajo Way access road, then take the Kino Parkway/Ajo Way east to access eastbound Ajo Way.
Drivers accessing westbound Ajo Way should take Ajo Way west to the Kino Parkway/Ajo Way access road, then take the Kino Parkway/Ajo Way access road north to Kino Parkway, then take Kino Parkway south to Benson Highway, then take Benson Highway west to Ajo Way.

North-and-southbound Palo Verde Road between Irvington Road and the eastbound I-10 on-and-off-ramps will continue to have long term lane restrictions 24-hours a day through the end of Jan. 2026. Drivers are advised to use alternate routes.

East-and-westbound Irvington Road between Outlet Center Drive and Palo Verde Road will continue to be narrowed to one lane 24-hours a day through mid-Jan. 2026. Drivers are advised to use alternate routes.

Westbound I-10 at Palo Verde Road will be narrowed to one lane overnight starting at 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 2, through 5 a.m. the morning of Wednesday, Dec. 3. This is an overnight restriction only; all lanes will reopen during daytime hours.

 The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to use designated detours when there are closures on state highways. Schedules are subject to change based on weather and other unforeseen factors.
