Plan for a northbound lane restriction on US 95 in Yuma Nov. 6

Drivers should expect delays and allow extra travel time

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan ahead for northbound lane restrictions on US 95 between Araby Road and Avenue 8E in Yuma from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 6. 

US 95 will be reduced to a single lane during the Gary Knight Memorial Highway Sign Unveiling Ceremony. Drivers should plan for  a 12 foot vehicle width restriction and a reduced speed limit of 45 mph. 

Drivers are asked to use caution, obey posted speed limits, traffic control devices, and use caution around personnel, event attendees and equipment.
