The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for US 60 (Superstition Freeway) closures and restrictions for pavement maintenance in Mesa and Tempe.
Westbound US 60 closures (Sept. 20-21)
The following westbound US 60 closures are scheduled from 9 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 20, to 9 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 21:

Westbound US 60 will be CLOSED between SR 87 (Country Club Drive) and Interstate 10 (Maricopa Freeway). The following ramps also will be closed:
- The north- and southbound Loop 101 (Price Freeway) ramps to westbound US 60
- The westbound US 60 ramps to north- and southbound Loop 101

DETOUR: Drivers may consider using Southern Avenue or Baseline Road as alternate routes.
Eastbound US 60 lane restrictions & ramp closures (Sept. 21-26)
The following eastbound US 60 lane restrictions and ramp closures are scheduled nightly from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m., starting Sunday, Sept. 21, and ending the morning of Friday, Sept. 26:

Sept. 21: Eastbound US 60 will be narrowed to three lanes between Hardy Drive and Rural Road. The following ramps will be CLOSED:
- The westbound I-10 ramp to eastbound US 60, the eastbound US 60 on- and off-ramps at Mill Avenue and the eastbound US 60 off-ramp at Rural Road

Sept. 22: Eastbound US 60 will be narrowed to three lanes between Rural Road and Loop 101. The following ramps will be CLOSED:
- The eastbound US 60 on-ramp at Rural Road, on- and off-ramps at McClintock Drive and ramps to north- and southbound Loop 101

Sept. 23: Eastbound US 60 will be narrowed to three lanes between Loop 101 and Country Club Drive. The following ramps will be CLOSED:
- The north- and southbound Loop 101 ramps to eastbound US 60, the eastbound US 60 on- and off-ramps at Dobson and Alma School roads and off-ramp at Country Club Drive

Sept. 24: Eastbound US 60 will be narrowed to three lanes between Hardy Drive and Loop 101.

Sept. 25: Eastbound US 60 will be narrowed to three lanes between Loop 101 and Country Club Drive.
ADOT advises drivers to use caution and be prepared to slow down and merge safely when approaching and traveling through all work zones.
