Westbound Loop 202 (Santan Freeway) off-ramp at Alma School Road to begin long-term closure Sept. 3

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for the westbound Loop 202 (Santan Freeway) off-ramp at Alma School Road to be closed for approximately 60 days starting 11:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 3 for ramp reconstruction as part of the Loop 202 widening project.

• DETOUR: Drivers may consider using the westbound Loop 202 off-ramp at Dobson Road. 

Ongoing Loop 202 long-term ramp closures

• Eastbound Loop 202 on-ramp at Dobson Road — anticipated to open late August
• Westbound Loop 202 off-ramp at Price Road — anticipated to open late September
• Westbound Loop 202 on-ramp at Arizona Avenue — anticipated to open in mid-October

Please help us promote highway safety. Speed limits are reduced to 55 miles per hour in work zones for the safety of you and workers. Slow down, stay alert and be prepared to merge with caution when approaching and traveling through all work zones.
