Raintree Drive off-ramp long-term closure now begins Sept. 2
|

The Arizona Department of Transportation reminds drivers to plan for the following closures as part of the Loop 101 widening project in north Scottsdale for bridge work:
- Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard will be closed in both directions at Loop 101 from 9 p.m. Friday, Aug. 8, to 8 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 9, and again from 9 p.m. Friday, Aug. 15, to 8 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 16 (new).

Eastbound Detour: Drivers may use the southbound Loop 101 frontage road to eastbound Raintree Drive to the northbound Loop 101 frontage road to access Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard east of the closure.

Westbound Detour: Drivers may use the northbound Loop 101 frontage road to westbound Bell Road to the southbound Loop 101 frontage road to access Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard west of the closure.

NOTE: There will be no access to businesses north of Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard between 90th Street and Loop 101 from midnight to 4 a.m, Saturday, Aug. 9, and again from midnight to 4 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 16.

Detour: Drivers may use southbound 90th Street to westbound Raintree Drive to northbound Hayden Road to Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard or southbound 90th Street to westbound Raintree Drive to the Loop 101 frontage road.

- At the same time, the southbound Loop 101 frontage road right turn lane to westbound Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard will be closed.

Detour: Drivers may continue on the frontage road to westbound Raintree Drive before taking northbound Northsight Boulevard to Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard.
Southbound Raintree Drive Off-Ramp Long-Term Closure
- The southbound Loop 101 off-ramp at Raintree Drive will be closed beginning 11:45 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 2, for approximately 60 days, for reconstruction.

Detour: Drivers may consider using the southbound Loop 101 off-ramp at Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard and using the southbound frontage road to access Raintree Drive.

Please help us promote highway safety. Speed limits are reduced to 55 mph in work zones for the safety of drivers and workers. Slow down, stay alert and be prepared to merge with caution when approaching and traveling through all work zones.
The Loop 101 Improvement Project between Princess Drive/Pima Road and Shea Boulevard is adding one general-use lane in each direction and providing other improvements along Loop 101 and at interchanges within the project’s boundaries.
