UPDATE: Start date for 60-day southbound Loop 101 off-ramp closure at Raintree Drive moved to Sept. 2

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for the following long-term (approximately 60-day) ramp closure for reconstruction as part of the current Loop 101 widening project:

• Updated: The southbound Loop 101 off-ramp at Raintree Drive will now be closed for approximately 60 days beginning 11:45 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 2.

DETOUR: Drivers may consider using the southbound Loop 101 off-ramp at Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard and using the southbound frontage road to access Raintree Drive.

Please help us promote highway safety. Speed limits are reduced to 55 mph within the project area on Loop 101 for the safety of drivers and workers. Slow down, stay alert and be prepared to merge with caution when approaching and traveling through all work zones.

The Loop 101 Improvement Project between Princess Drive/Pima Road and Shea Boulevard is adding one general-use lane in each direction and providing other improvements along Loop 101 and at interchanges within the project’s boundaries.
