Drivers in Tucson should plan for the permanent closure of the westbound on-ramp at I-10 and Ajo Way starting August 4

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers in Tucson to plan for the permanent closure of the westbound on-ramp at I-10 and Ajo Way starting August 4.

Detours: Drivers should take Ajo Way to the northbound Ajo Way/Kino Parkway access road to the I-10 Westbound on-ramp at Kino Parkway.

Drivers should allow extra travel time, use caution, be prepared to slow down and merge safely when approaching and traveling through all work zones.

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to use designated detours when there are closures on state highways. Schedules are subject to change based on weather and other unforeseen factors.
