Additional restrictions and closures scheduled June 28-30 and July 7-18; no closures or restrictions scheduled over the Fourth of July weekend

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for the following closures and restrictions as part of the Loop 101 widening project in north Scottsdale:
- Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard will be closed in both directions at Loop 101 from 8 p.m. Sunday, June 29, to 5 a.m. Monday, June 30, for bridge work.

Eastbound Detour: Drivers may use the southbound Loop 101 frontage road to eastbound Raintree Drive to the northbound Loop 101 frontage road to access Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard east of the closure.

Westbound Detour: Drivers may use the northbound Loop 101 frontage road to westbound Bell Road to the southbound Loop 101 frontage road to access Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard west of the closure.
- Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard will be narrowed to one lane in both directions between Hayden Road and 90th Street from 4 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, June 28, for paving.
- Westbound Shea Boulevard between 90th Street and Loop 101 will be narrowed to one lane from 9 p.m. Sunday, June 29, to 5 a.m. Monday, June 30, for paving.
- The northbound Loop 101 on-ramp at Raintree Drive will be closed from 9 p.m. Sunday, June 29, to 5 a.m. Monday, June 30, for ramp reconstruction.

Detour: Drivers may consider using the northbound Loop 101 frontage road to the northbound Loop 101 on-ramp at Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard.
UPCOMING CLOSURES AND RESTRICTIONS:
NOTE: There are no scheduled closures or restrictions for this project over the Fourth of July weekend.
PRINCESS DRIVE/PIMA ROAD (July 7-16)
- Princess Drive/Pima Road will be closed in both directions at Loop 101 nightly from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday, July 7, through Friday morning, July 11, and again nightly from 9 a.m. to 5 a.m. beginning Sunday, July 13, and ending the morning of Wednesday, July 16, for bridge work.
FRANK LLOYD WRIGHT BOULEVARD (July 9-18)
- Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard will be closed in both directions at Loop 101 during the following times for bridge work:

Nightly from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. beginning Wednesday, July 9, and ending Friday morning, July 11, and again Wednesday, July 16, and ending Friday morning, July 18
- 9 p.m., Friday, July 11, to 5 a.m. Monday, July 14

Please help us promote highway safety. Speed limits are reduced to 55 mph in work zones for the safety of drivers and workers. Slow down, stay alert and be prepared to merge with caution when approaching and traveling through all work zones.
The Loop 101 Improvement Project between Princess Drive/Pima Road and Shea Boulevard is adding one general-use lane in each direction and providing other improvements along Loop 101 and at interchanges within the project’s boundaries.
