First long-term ramp closure at 35th Avenue begins May 13

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for the following long-term ramp closures as part of the Loop 101 widening project between 75th Avenue and Interstate 17.
Starting May 13
- The westbound Loop 101 on-ramp at 35th Avenue will be closed starting 10 p.m. Tuesday, May 13, for approximately 60 days.
- DETOUR: Drivers may use on-ramps at 27th or 51st avenues to access westbound Loop 101.
Starting May 20
- The westbound Loop 101 off-ramp at 51st Avenue will be closed beginning 10 p.m. Tuesday, May 20, for approximately 60 days
- DETOUR: Drivers may consider using the westbound Loop 101 off-ramp at 59th Avenue, then travel south to eastbound Union Hills Drive to reach 51st Avenue.
- The eastbound Loop 101 on-ramp at 59th Avenue will be closed beginning 10 p.m. Tuesday, May 20, for approximately 60 days.
- DETOUR: Drivers may consider using eastbound Union Hills Drive to 51st Avenue to access eastbound Loop 101.
Starting May 27
- The eastbound Loop 101 off-ramp at 51st Avenue will be closed starting 10 p.m. Tuesday, May 27, for approximately 60 days.
- DETOUR: Drivers may consider using the eastbound Loop 101 off-ramp at 59th Avenue, then travel south to eastbound Union Hills Drive to reach 51st Avenue.
Schedules are subject to change. ADOT will provide updates if adjustments are needed.
