Expect daytime lane restrictions on northbound I-17 near SR 169 April 15-16 for guardrail repairs

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to prepare for daytime lane restrictions on southbound Interstate 17 near the junction with State Route 169 on Tuesday, April 15, and Wednesday, April 16, for guardrail repairs.

Drivers should plan for the following restrictions from 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.: 

• Southbound I-17 will be reduced to one lane between mileposts 277-274.
• The speed limit will be reduced to 55 mph in the work zone. 
• A 14-foot vehicle width restriction will be in place.

ADOT reminds drivers to watch for construction crews and equipment when driving through the workzone.
