The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for the following closures and restrictions for bridge work as part of the current Loop 101 widening project in north Scottsdale.
- The northbound Loop 101 frontage road will be closed between Raintree Drive and Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard, and westbound Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard will be narrowed to two lanes at Loop 101 from 9 p.m. Sunday, April 13 to 5 a.m. Monday, April 14.
- Westbound Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard will be closed at Loop 101 nightly from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. beginning Monday, April 14, ending the morning of Wednesday, April 16, and then narrowed to one lane from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. beginning Wednesday, April 16, ending the morning of Friday, April 18.
- Eastbound Frank Lloyd Boulevard will be narrowed to one lane at Loop 101 nightly from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. beginning Monday, April 14, ending the morning of Friday, April 18.
Please help us promote highway safety. Speed limits are reduced to 55 mph in work zones for the safety of drivers and workers. Slow down, stay alert and be prepared to merge with caution when approaching and traveling through all work zones.
The Loop 101, Princess Drive/Pima Road to Shea Boulevard Improvements project is adding an additional general-use lane in each direction and making improvements to Loop 101 and interchanges between Princess Drive/Pima Road and Shea Boulevard.
