Hello from ADOT. Be sure to click the Weekend Travel Advisory Map for more information about scheduled freeway closures or restrictions for improvement projects this weekend (March 28-31). The big closure is the one along eastbound I-10 near Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport:
- Eastbound I-10 closed between the SR 51 "Mini-Stack" interchange and US 60 (Superstition Freeway) from 10 p.m. Friday to 4 a.m. Monday (March 31) for a traffic shift as part of the Broadway Curve Improvement Project. Plan ahead on the use of detour routes. If you're going to the LPGA golf tourney in Chandler, using the southbound/eastbound Loop 202 (South Mountain Freeway) is an option to consider.
- Westbound Loop 202 (Santan Freeway) closed between Alma School and Dobson roads in the southeast Valley from 11:30 p.m. Saturday to noon Sunday (March 30) for message sign removal as part of the ongoing widening project.
- Overnight lane restrictions also are planned along SR 347 north of Maricopa Friday through Monday nights (March 28-31). Click the Weekend Travel Advisory Map for more information.
