Overnight closure of westbound Raintree Drive east of Loop 101 starts Wednesday, April 2

Eastbound Raintree Drive also narrowed to two lanes

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for the following overnight closure and restriction as part of the current Loop 101 widening project.

• Westbound Raintree Drive will be closed and eastbound Raintree Drive will be narrowed to two lanes between 90th Street and Loop 101 from 9 p.m. Wednesday, April 2, until 5 a.m. Thursday, April 3, for overhead sign removal. 
• WESTBOUND DETOUR: Drivers may consider taking southbound Redfield Road to southbound 92nd Street to westbound Thunderbird Road to northbound Northsight Boulevard to access westbound Raintree Drive beyond the closure. 

Please help us promote highway safety. Speed limits are reduced to 55 mph in work zones for the safety of drivers and workers. Slow down, stay alert and be prepared to merge with caution when approaching and traveling through all work zones.

The Loop 101, Princess Dr/Pima Rd to Shea Blvd Improvements project is adding an additional general-use lane in each direction and making improvements to Loop 101 and interchanges between Princess Dr/Pima Rd and Shea Blvd.
