Northbound Loop 101 in North Scottsdale to be closed Feb. 28 - March 3

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers in north Scottsdale to plan for the following closure as part of the current Loop 101 widening project.

Northbound Loop 101 will be closed from 10 p.m. Friday, Feb 28, to 5 a.m. Monday, March 3, for bridge work.

DETOUR: Drivers may consider taking westbound Shea Boulevard to northbound Scottsdale Road to access northbound Loop 101 beyond the closure.

Please help us promote highway safety. Speed limits are reduced to 55 mph in work zones for the safety of drivers and workers. Slow down, stay alert and be prepared to merge with caution when approaching and traveling through all work zones.

The Loop 101, Princess Dr/Pima Rd to Shea Blvd Improvements project is adding an additional general-use lane in each direction and making improvements to Loop 101 and interchanges between Princess Dr/Pima Rd and Shea Blvd.
