ADOT's Weekend Freeway Travel Advisory (Phoenix Area)
Feb. 7-10, 2025

Weekend Travel Advisory

Hello from ADOT. Yes, it's a busy weekend in the Valley of the Sun. And we have some important freeway improvements to work on. Please plan your travel, allow extra time and consult the clickable Weekend Travel Advisory Map in an effort to avoid closures if at all possible. The map has details about these and other weekend restrictions (Feb. 7-10)

  • Eastbound I-10 closed between the SR 51/Loop 202 "Mini-Stack" interchange and US 60 (Superstition Freeway) from 10 p.m. Friday to 4 a.m. Monday (Feb. 10). Allow extra time if you're traveling to Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport.
  • Northbound I-17 closed between Loop 303 and SR 74/Carefree Highway from 10 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday (Feb. 10). Traffic will detour along the northbound I-17 frontage road system. Please use this primary detour route and don't use local streets east of I-17, which aren't designed to handle freeway traffic. Some local street closures will be in place.
  • Eastbound Loop 303 and westbound Sonoran Desert Drive traffic won't be able to travel under I-17 this weekend. Click the Weekend Travel Advisory Map for more information.
