Expect overnight lane restrictions on SR 69 in Prescott Jan. 30 for traffic signal repair

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for overnight lane restrictions on State Route 69 at Prescott Lakes Parkway on Thursday, Jan. 30, for traffic signal repair.

Drivers should plan for the following restrictions from 8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 30, to 6 a.m., Friday, Jan. 31:

  • North- and southbound SR 69 will be reduced to one lane in each direction, between Prescott Lakes Parkway and Heather Heights (mileposts 294-296).
  • The speed limit will be reduced to 25 mph in the work zone.
  • Lanes will be closed intermittently for 15 minutes at a time, with on-site flaggers moving traffic through the work zone.
  • All business driveways along SR 69 will be open during construction.

The restrictions are needed as work continues on the SR 69 widening project, which is scheduled to be completed in fall 2025. For more information, please visit the project’s website.
