Plan for alternating lane restrictions on I-10 near Plomosa beginning Jan. 13

Drivers should expect long delays and allow extra travel time

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for alternating lane restrictions on Interstate 10 near Plomosa beginning Monday, Jan. 13, for paving.

The following restrictions are scheduled: 

  • East- and westbound I-10 between Scaddan Wash and milepost 30 will be reduced to one lane from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. beginning Monday, Jan. 13, through Thursday, Jan. 16. Restrictions on Friday, Jan. 17, will end at noon. 
  • A 14-foot vehicle width restriction will be in place. 
  • The speed limit will be reduced to 55 mph.

Drivers should plan for long delays, obey posted speed limits and traffic control devices and use caution around construction personnel.
