The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for the following closures in north Scottsdale for bridge work and sign installation as part of the Loop 101 (Pima Freeway), Princess Drive/Pima Road to Shea Boulevard Improvements.
BELL ROAD:
Bell Road will be closed in both directions at Loop 101 nightly from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. from Sunday, Jan. 13, until the morning of Friday, Jan. 17, for bridge work

EASTBOUND DETOUR: Drivers may consider using the southbound Loop 101 frontage road to eastbound Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard to the northbound Loop 101 frontage Road to access Bell Road east of the closure.

WESTBOUND DETOUR: Drivers may consider using the northbound Loop 101 frontage road to westbound Princess Drive/Pima Road to the southbound Loop 101 frontage road to access Bell Road west of the closure.
CACTUS ROAD:
The northbound Loop 101 off-ramp at Cactus Road will be closed from 10 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 15, to 5 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 16.
DETOUR: Drives may consider exiting northbound Loop 101 at Shea Boulevard and using eastbound Shea Boulevard to northbound 92nd Street or westbound Shea Boulevard to northbound Hayden Road to access Cactus Road.
 Please help us promote highway safety. Speed limits are reduced to 55 mph in work zones for the safety of drivers and workers. Slow down, stay alert and be prepared to merge with caution when approaching and traveling through all work zones.
This work is part of the Loop 101, Princess Dr/Pima Rd to Shea Blvd Improvements project that is adding an additional general-use lane in each direction and making improvements to Loop 101 and interchanges between Princess Dr/Pima Rd and Shea Blvd.
