The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for overnight lane restrictions on State Route 89A in West Sedona between Dry Creek Road and Ranger Road, and daytime restrictions between the Pumphouse Wash Bridge and Oak Creek Vista in Oak Creek Canyon.
The following lane restrictions will be in place:
- 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday, Nov. 18, through Wednesday, Nov. 20, there will be alternating north- and southbound lane restrictions between mileposts 387-390.
- 9 p.m. to 4 a.m., Sunday evening, Nov. 17, through Wednesday morning, Nov. 20, there will be alternating north- and southbound lane restrictions between mileposts 371-374.
- Law enforcement and flaggers will be present to guide drivers through the work zone.
- Drivers should be prepared to make frequent stops and expect delays while moving through the work zone.
- The speed limit will be reduced in the work zone.
- Restrictions will be lifted each day and evening after work hours.
The restrictions are needed so crews can safely complete pavement preservation and striping work along these sections of SR 89A.
