The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to prepare for ramp closures along Interstate 40 at Pinta Road (Exit 320), Navajo Road (Exit 325) and McCarrell Road (Exit 330) over the next two weeks as work continues on the pavement life-extension project on I-40 between Pinta and McCarrell roads.
Drivers should expect the following restrictions weekdays from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.:
Pinta Road Interchange (Exit 320)

Monday, Nov. 11, and Tuesday, Nov. 12: Westbound I-40 off-ramp will be closed.

DETOUR: Drivers on westbound I-40 can exit at the Petrified Forest National Park (Exit 311) and then proceed eastbound on I-40 to Pinta Road.
Navajo Interchange (Exit 325)

Thursday, Nov. 14, through Wednesday, Nov. 20: Eastbound I-40 on- and off-ramps will be intermittently closed.

DETOUR: Drivers on eastbound I-40 can exit at McCarrell Road (Exit 330) and then proceed westbound on I-40 to Navajo Road.

DETOUR: Drivers on Navajo Road will need to use westbound I-40 to exit at Pinta Road (Exit 320) and then proceed eastbound on I-40.

Friday, Nov. 15, through Monday, Nov. 18: Westbound I-40 on- and off-ramps will be intermittently closed.

DETOUR: Drivers on westbound I-40 can exit at Pinta Road (Exit 320) and then proceed eastbound on I-40 to Navajo Road.

DETOUR: Drivers on McCarrell Road will need to use westbound I-40 to exit at Navajo Road (Exit 325) and then proceed eastbound on I-40.

DETOUR: Drivers on McCarrell Road will need to use eastbound I-40 to exit at US 191 (Exit 333) and then proceed westbound on I-40.
Ramps at adjacent interchanges will not be closed at the same time. Restrictions will be lifted each day after work hours. No work is anticipated to take place on weekends.
Drivers should use caution when approaching and driving through work zones.
