ADOT's Weekend Freeway Travel Advisory (Phoenix Area)
November 8-11, 2024

Weekend Travel Advisory

Hello from ADOT. Work on freeway improvement projects will require closures or lane restrictions this weekend (Nov. 8-11). If you have travel plans, including trips to see football or a big race in the West Valley, click the Weekend Travel Advisory Map to help you plan ahead. Allow plenty of extra travel time and think about alternate routes (possibly the Loop 202 South Mountain Freeway for travel to or from the West Valley).

  • Eastbound I-10 closed between the SR 51/Loop 202 "Mini-Stack" interchange and US 60 (Superstition Freeway) from 10 p.m. Friday to 4 a.m. Monday (Nov. 11) for work on the I-10 Broadway Curve Improvement Project.
  • Northbound I-17 closed between Dunlap and Peoria avenues from 10 p.m. Friday to 4 a.m. Monday (Nov. 11) for Valley Metro work on the light rail bridge project (over the freeway).
  • Westbound Loop 202 (Red Mountain Freeway) closed between Priest Drive and the I-10/SR 51 "Mini-Stack" interchange from 11:30 p.m. Saturday to 6 p.m. Sunday (Nov. 10) for pavement sealing. Consider alternate routes to the West Valley. Click the Weekend Travel Advisory Map for information about other scheduled weekend restrictions.
