Eastbound Loop 101 overnight restrictions between 35th and 27th avenues scheduled Nov. 12

Eastbound Loop 101 ramps also will be closed overnight

The Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) advises drivers to plan for the following overnight restrictions as work continues on the Loop 101, 75th Avenue to I-17 widening project:

• Eastbound Loop 101 will be narrowed to two lanes between 35th and 27th avenues from 9 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 12 to 5 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 13.

• The eastbound Loop 101 ramps to north- and southbound I-17 will be closed during this time.
  
  • Detour: Drivers traveling on eastbound Loop 101 may exit at 35th Avenue and travel north to eastbound Deer Valley Road to access northbound I-17 or use southbound 35th Avenue to eastbound Union Hills Drive to access southbound I-17.

ADOT advises drivers to plan ahead and allow extra time while work is taking place.

The project is scheduled under the Maricopa Association of Government's (MAG) Regional Freeway Plan and is funded through Prop 400, a countywide half-cent sales tax for transportation improvements approved by voters in 2004.
