SR 89 turn-lane project in Paulden scheduled to begin construction early November

The Arizona Department of Transportation is scheduled to start construction on Monday, Nov. 4, to construct a left-turn lane on State Route 89 at the intersection of Little Ranch Road in Paulden (mileposts 335-336). Additional work includes the installation of pavement markings and signage and other related work.

Construction activities will occur during daytime hours Mondays through Fridays. Some night and weekend work may also be required. The construction project is anticipated to be completed in summer 2025. Schedules are subject to change based on weather and other unforeseen factors. 

Drivers should be prepared to slow down and make frequent stops when approaching and passing through the work zone and use caution around construction personnel and equipment while the restrictions are in place.
