Southbound Loop 101 closed between Princess Drive/Pima Road and Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard Oct. 25-28

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for the following closure in north Scottsdale as part of the Loop 101 (Pima Freeway), Princess Drive/Pima Road to Shea Boulevard Improvements.

• Southbound Loop 101 will be closed between Princess Drive/Pima Road and Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard from 10 p.m. Friday, Oct. 25, to 5 a.m. Monday, Oct. 28, for bridge work. The southbound Loop 101 on-ramps at Scottsdale Road and Hayden Road also will be closed.

DETOUR: Drivers may consider exiting Loop 101 at Princess Drive/Pima Road and taking the southbound Loop 101 frontage road to Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard to access southbound Loop 101 beyond the closure. 

Please help us promote highway safety. Speed limits are reduced to 55 miles per hour in work zones for the safety of you and workers. Slow down, stay alert and be prepared to merge with caution when approaching and traveling through all work zones.
