Several northbound cross-streets at Loop 202 (Santan Freeway) to be closed or restricted starting Oct. 20-26

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to allow extra time while the following closures and restrictions are is in place for the Loop 202 (Santan Freeway), Loop 101 to Val Vista Drive widening project:
Arizona Avenue
- Northbound Arizona Avenue will be CLOSED at Loop 202 from 9 p.m. Sunday Oct. 20, to 5 a.m. Monday, Oct. 21, for bridge work.
- DETOUR: Motorists traveling north on Arizona Avenue may consider taking eastbound Germann Road to northbound McQueen Road to westbound Pecos Road, or westbound Germann Road to northbound Alma School Road to eastbound Pecos Road to access Arizona Avenue north of the closure.
- Northbound Arizona Avenue will be narrowed to one lane nightly at Loop 202 from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 22, to the morning of Friday, Oct. 25, and from 10 p.m. Friday, Oct. 25, to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 26.
Lindsay Road
- Eastbound Loop 202 will be narrowed to two lanes at Lindsay Road from 10 p.m. Friday, Oct. 25, to 11 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 26.
- Northbound Lindsay road will be CLOSED nightly at Loop 202 from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. starting Wednesday, Oct. 23, and ending the morning of Saturday, Oct. 26
- DETOUR: Motorists traveling north on Lindsay Road may consider taking eastbound Germann Road to northbound Val Vista Drive to westbound Pecos Road, or westbound Germann Road to northbound Gilbert Road to eastbound Pecos Road to access Lindsay Road north of the closure.
- North- and southbound Lindsay Road will be reduced to one lane at Loop 202 from 10 p.m. Friday, Oct. 25, to 11 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 26.
ADOT urges drivers to plan ahead for detours and travel delays; slow down and use caution around construction personnel and equipment while the restrictions are in place.
