Plan for alternating lane restrictions on I-10 in Tonopah Nov. 6-8

Drivers should expect delays and allow extra travel time

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan ahead for lane restrictions on Interstate 10 in Tonopah for pavement work. 

The following restrictions will occur nightly from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 6, through Friday, Nov. 8.

• West- and eastbound I-10 between Salome Road and milepost 70 (near Avenue 75) will be reduced to one lane. Note: only one direction will be impacted at a time. 
• A 14-foot vehicle width restriction will be in place.
• The speed limit will be reduced to 55 mph.

Drivers should plan for delays, obey posted speed limits and traffic control devices and use caution around construction personnel.
