The Title and Registration Application, Form 96-0236, has been revised and will be effective October 17, 2024 and only available online.
The new version of the Title and Registration Application, Form 96-0236, includes the following notable changes:
- Each section is broken down with a brief description
- Vehicle Identification Number will have 17 individual spaces to avoid & catch discrepancies
- Odometer reading types
- Additional fields have been added for multiple owners
- Signature field will be in the same section for each owner to sign
- A button to add additional owners has been added and will create a second page
- QR codes were added to the second page for Vehicle Tax Exemption options and Commercial Use/Motor Carrier options
Attached you will find the draft version of the application. A live copy of the application will be shared and available on October 17, 2024.
Please note, any prior versions of the Title and Registration Application, Form 96-0236 will not be accepted after December 15, 2024. However any application signed prior to this date will still be accepted.
