Northbound Loop 101 closed between Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard and Princess Drive/Pima Road Oct. 18-21

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for the following closure in north Scottsdale as part of the Loop 101 (Pima Freeway), Princess Drive/Pima Road to Shea Boulevard Improvements.

• Northbound Loop 101 will be closed between Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard and Princess Drive/Pima Road from 10 p.m. Friday, Oct. 18, to 5 a.m. Monday, Oct. 21, for bridge work. The northbound Loop 101 on-ramps at Cactus Road and Raintree Drive also will be closed.

DETOUR: Drivers may consider exiting Loop 101 at Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard and taking the northbound Loop 101 frontage road to Princess Drive/Pima Road to access northbound Loop 101 beyond the closure. 

Please help us promote highway safety. Speed limits are reduced to 55 miles per hour in work zones for the safety of you and workers. Slow down, stay alert and be prepared to merge with caution when approaching and traveling through all work zones.
