Plan for alternating daytime lane restrictions on US 60 near Vicksburg Oct. 15-16

Drivers should expect delays and allow extra travel time

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan ahead for daytime lane restrictions on US 60 near Vicksburg for striping work.  

The following restrictions will occur  from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 15, and Wednesday, Oct. 16:

• US 60 between the US 60/Vicksburg Road junction roundabout and State Route 72 will be reduced to one lane.
• The US 60/Vicksburg Road junction roundabout will be restricted in all directions. Note: Motorists should be prepared to stop and obey flaggers to move through the roundabout. 
• A 14-foot vehicle width restriction will be in place.
• The speed limit will be reduced to 25 mph.

Drivers should plan for delays, obey posted speed limits and traffic control devices and use caution around construction personnel.
