The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for the following closures of Loop 101 (Agua Fria Freeway) in the West Valley for pavement maintenance:
-
Northbound Loop 101 will be closed between Interstate 10 (Papago Freeway) and Thunderbird Road from 9 p.m. Friday, Oct. 11, to 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 12. The following ramps also will be closed:
- The east- and westbound I-10 ramps to northbound Loop 101

Southbound Loop 101 will be closed between Thunderbird Road and I-10 from 9 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 12, to 1 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 13. The following ramps also will be closed:
- The southbound Loop 101 ramps to east- and westbound I-10
DETOUR: Drivers may consider alternate routes, including exiting ahead of the closure and using 99th or 91st avenues before accessing Loop 101 beyond the closure.

ADOT advises drivers to use caution and be prepared to slow down and merge safely when approaching and traveling through all work zones.
