The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for the following areas of eastbound US 60 (Grand Avenue) to be closed nightly from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m. for Arizona Public Service (APS) powerline work:
MONDAY, SEPT. 16:
- Eastbound US 60 will be narrowed to one lane between Orangewood and Myrtle avenues and CLOSED between Glendale Avenue and Bethany Home Road.

DETOUR: Drivers may consider taking eastbound Northern Avenue to southbound 59th Avenue to eastbound Bethany Home Road to reconnect with US 60.
TUESDAY, SEPT. 17:
- Eastbound US 60 will be narrowed to one lane between 56th Avenue and Bethany Home Road and CLOSED between Bethany Home and Camelback roads.

DETOUR: Drivers may consider taking southbound 51st Avenue to westbound Camelback Road, or eastbound Bethany Home Road to southbound 43rd Avenue, to reconnect with eastbound US 60.
WEDNESDAY, SEPT. 18:
- Eastbound US 60 will be narrowed to one lane between Missouri and 43rd avenues and CLOSED between Camelback and Indian School roads.

DETOUR: Drivers may consider taking eastbound Camelback Road to southbound 35th Avenue, or southbound 43rd Avenue to eastbound Indian School Road to reconnect with US 60.
THURSDAY, SEPT. 19:
- Eastbound US 60 will be CLOSED between Indian School and Thomas roads.

DETOUR: Drivers may consider taking southbound 35th Avenue to eastbound Thomas Road, or eastbound Indian School Road to southbound 27th Avenue, to reconnect with US 60.
ADOT advises drivers to use caution and be prepared to slow down and merge safely when approaching work zones where APS maintenance work is taking place.
