The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to prepare for daytime lane restrictions along State Route 377 north of Heber-Overgaard from Tuesday, Sept. 3, through Thursday, Sept 5, and from Tuesday, Sept. 10, through Thursday, Sept. 12, as work resumes on pavement improvements.
Drivers should expect the following restrictions from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.:
- SR 377 will be reduced to one lane only with alternating north- and southbound travel between the junction with SR 277 and milepost 6.
- Drivers will be directed through the work zone by flaggers and a pilot car.
- Drivers need to be prepared to make frequent stops when approaching and driving through the work zone and use caution around construction personnel and equipment while the restrictions are in place.
Crews will be placing rumble strips down the center of the highway and applying permanent striping to the roadway.
Visit the SR 377 project web page for more information.
