UPDATED: Guadalupe Road long-term closure planned July 1-22

This alert updates the start time for the closure

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for the long-term closure of east- and westbound Guadalupe Road between Pointe Parkway and Calle Sahuaro, including the bridge over Interstate 10, from 12:01 a.m. Monday, July 1, to 5 a.m. Monday, July 22, for utility work.

The bridge will be open to cyclists, pedestrians and equestrians.

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to use designated detours when there are closures on state highways. Schedules are subject to change based on weather and other unforeseen factors.
