Expect daytime restrictions on I-40 Perkins Valley Road overpass in Holbrook week of June 24

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for daytime lane restrictions on the Perkins Valley Road overpass on Interstate 40 in Holbrook beginning Monday, June 24, through Friday, June 28.

Drivers should expect the following restrictions from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.:

• The Perkins Valley Road overpass (Exit 283) will be narrowed to one lane only with alternating east- and westbound traffic.
• On-site flaggers will direct drivers through the work zone.
• The speed limit on I-40 will be reduced to 55 mph at the overpass.
• Restrictions will be lifted after work hours each day.
