Northbound Loop 101 weekend closure planned in North Scottsdale June 14-17

Southbound Loop 101 HOV lane also closed. 

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for the following closure in north Scottsdale as part of the Loop 101 (Pima Freeway), Princess Drive/Pima Road to Shea Boulevard Improvements.

  • Northbound Loop 101 will be closed between Shea Boulevard and Princess Drive/Pima Road from 10 p.m. Friday, June 14, to 5 a.m. Monday, June 17, for lighting installation. The following also will be closed:
    • The northbound Loop 101 on-ramps at Via de Ventura and 90th Street
    • The southbound Loop 101 high-occupancy vehicle lane between Shea Boulevard and Princess Drive/Pima Road

DETOUR: Drivers may consider using westbound Shea Boulevard to northbound Scottsdale Road to access westbound Loop 101 beyond the closure.

Please help us promote highway safety. Speed limits are reduced to 55 miles per hour in work zones for the safety of you and workers. Slow down, stay alert and be prepared to merge with caution when approaching and traveling through all work zones.
