The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for the following overnight restrictions on Loop 101, Loop 101 frontage roads, Princess Drive/Pima Road and Bell Road in north Scottsdale for maintenance and work related to the Loop 101 (Pima Freeway), Princess Drive/Pima Road to Shea Boulevard Improvements.
Loop 101 Lane Restrictions
- Northbound Loop 101 will be narrowed to three lanes between Shea Boulevard and Cactus Road nightly from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. Wednesday, June 12, to the morning of Friday, June 14, for striping and concrete barrier placement.
Loop 101 Frontage Roads Lane Restrictions
- The northbound Loop 101 frontage road will be closed at Bell Road from 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 11, to 5 a.m. Wednesday, June 12, for city of Scottsdale maintenance work.

DETOUR: Drives may consider using eastbound Bell Road to northbound 94th Street to westbound Legacy Boulevard to southbound Pima Road/westbound Princess Drive or westbound Bell Road to northbound Perimeter Drive to eastbound Princess Drive/northbound Pima Road to access northbound Loop 101 beyond the closures.
Princess Drive/Pima Road and Bell Road Lane Restrictions
- Westbound Princess Drive/Southbound Pima Road will be narrowed to two lanes and eastbound Princess Drive/Pima Road will be narrowed to one lane between the Loop 101 frontage roads nightly from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., Sunday, June 9, to the morning of Tuesday, June 11, for bridge work.
- Bell Road will be narrowed to two lanes in each direction between the Loop 101 frontage roads nightly from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., Sunday, June 9, to the morning of Tuesday, June 11, and Wednesday, June 12, to the morning of Friday, June 14, for bridge work.
Please help us promote highway safety. Speed limits are reduced to 55 miles per hour in work zones for the safety of drivers and workers. Slow down, stay alert and be prepared to merge with caution when approaching and traveling through all work zones.
