Expect delays along SR 377 near Heber-Overgaard beginning June 10 for pavement project

Drivers should expect delays

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to prepare for daytime lane restrictions along State Route 377 near Heber-Overgaard beginning Monday, June 10, for pavement improvements.

Drivers should expect the following restrictions weekdays from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.:

  • SR 377 will be reduced to one lane only with alternating north- and southbound travel between the junction with SR 277 and milepost 6.
  • Drivers will be directed through the work zone by flaggers and a pilot car.
  • Drivers need to be prepared to make frequent stops when approaching and driving through the work zone and use caution around construction personnel and equipment while the restrictions are in place.

The purpose of the project is to extend the life of the pavement and create a smooth driving surface for vehicles. The project is scheduled to be completed by early fall.
