Prepare for delays

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises motorists traveling on Interstate 40 southwest of Kingman to expect daytime lane restrictions beginning Tuesday, May 28, through the end of October as crews replace the top pavement surface on a 14-mile segment of the interstate.
The following restrictions will be in place Mondays through Fridays beginning Tuesday, May 28, from 3 a.m. to 8 p.m:
- I-40 will be narrowed to one lane in each direction between Holy Moses Wash and Walnut Creek (mileposts 33-47).
- A 14-foot vehicle width restriction will be in place.
ADOT reminds drivers to proceed through the work zone with caution and watch for construction personnel and equipment while construction is underway.
