The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for the following closure of northbound Loop 101 (Price Freeway) in Tempe and Mesa for pavement improvements:

(Updated) Northbound Loop 101 will be closed between US 60 (Superstition Freeway) and Loop 202 (Red Mountain Freeway) from 9 p.m. Friday, May 17, to 5 a.m. Monday, May 20. The following ramps also will be closed:
- The east- and westbound US 60 (Superstition Freeway) ramps to northbound Loop 101
- The northbound Loop 101 on-ramps at Warner, Elliot and Guadalupe roads
DETOUR: Drivers may consider alternate routes, including exiting ahead of the closure and traveling northbound on Dobson Road or McClintock Drive to access Loop 101 beyond the closure.
Overnight ramp closures and lane restrictions (May 15-17)

Southbound Loop 101 will be narrowed to two lanes between Chandler Boulevard and Loop 202 (Santan Freeway) from 9 p.m. Wednesday, May 15, to 5 a.m. Thursday, May 16.

Northbound Loop 101 will be narrowed to two lanes between Loop 202 (Santan Freeway) and Chandler Boulevard from 9 p.m. Thursday, May 16, to 5 a.m. Friday, May 17. The following ramps also will be closed:
- The east- and westbound Loop 202 ramps to northbound Loop 101
Upcoming closures (May 31-June 3)

Northbound Loop 101 (Price Freeway) will be closed between Loop 202 (Santan Freeway) and Warner Road from 9 p.m. Friday, May 31, to 5 a.m. Monday, June 3.
ADOT advises drivers to use caution and be prepared to slow down and merge safely when approaching and traveling through all work zones.
