The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan ahead for lane restrictions along east- and westbound Interstate 10 near Red Rock beginning tonight Monday, May 6, and continuing through Monday, May 13, for pavement improvements.
Motorists can expect the following restrictions between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m.:
- Eastbound I-10 will be reduced to one lane between milepost 228 to milepost 232 Monday, May 6, through Tuesday, May 7.
- Eastbound I-10 will be reduced to one lane between milepost 229 to milepost 232 Tuesday, May 7, through Wednesday, May 8.
- Westbound I-10 will be reduced to one lane between milepost 232 to milepost 228 Wednesday, May 8, through Thursday, May 9.
- Westbound I-10 will be reduced to one lane between milepost 228 to milepost 225 Thursday, May 9, through Friday, May 10.
- Westbound I-10 will be reduced to one lane between milepost 225 to milepost 222 Sunday, May 12, through Monday, May 13.
- A 12-foot vehicle width restriction will be in place.
- The speed limit will be reduced to 45 mph.
Drivers should plan for delays, obey posted speed limits and traffic control devices and use caution around construction personnel.
