Intermittent closures planned along Interstate 17 between SR 74 and Loop 303 early morning May 7

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers who use Interstate 17 in Phoenix to plan for slower traffic at times as crews prepare for the I-17 Happy Valley Road to State Route 74 Pavement Project.

• North- and southbound I-17 will have intermittent closures lasting up to 15 minutes between SR 74 and Loop 303 from 1 a.m. to 5 a.m. Tuesday, May 7.

Drivers should use caution and be prepared to slow down and stop when approaching and traveling through any work zones.
