Northbound Loop 101 closure planned between US 60 and Broadway Road May 10-13

Nightly southbound lane restrictions also planned May 8-10

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for the following closure of northbound Loop 101 (Price Freeway) in Tempe for pavement improvements:

• Northbound Loop 101 will be closed between US 60 (Superstition Freeway) and Broadway Road from 9 p.m. Friday, May 10, to 5 a.m. Monday, May 13. The following ramps also will be closed:

• The northbound Loop 101 on-ramps at Warner, Elliot and Guadalupe roads and Southern Avenue
• The east- and westbound US 60 ramps to northbound Loop 101

DETOUR: Drivers may consider alternate routes, including exiting ahead of the closure and traveling northbound on McClintock Drive or Dobson Road to access Loop 101 beyond the closure.

Overnight lane restrictions (May 8-10)

• Southbound Loop 101 will be narrowed to two lanes between Warner Road and Chandler Boulevard from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., starting Wednesday, May 8, and ending the morning of Friday, May 10.

Upcoming closures (May 17-20)

• Northbound Loop 101 (Price Freeway) will be closed between Warner Road and US 60 from 9 p.m. Friday, May 17, to 5 a.m. Monday, May 20. 

ADOT advises drivers to use caution and be prepared to slow down and merge safely when approaching and traveling through all work zones.
