Loop 101 (Agua Fria Freeway) off-ramps and crossroad at 51st Avenue restricted beginning April 8

Long-term ramp and frontage road closures at 51st Avenue begin April 15

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for restrictions on the east- and westbound Loop 101 (Agua Fria Freeway) off-ramps at 51st Avenue starting 12:01 a.m. Monday, April 8, through 11:59 p.m. Sunday, April 14, for a city of Phoenix waterline project. The ramps and frontage road will be restricted to one through lane and one right turn lane, with no left turns available onto 51st Avenue. 

Beginning 12:01 a.m. Monday, April 15, the east- and westbound off-ramps and Loop 101 frontage roads at 51st Avenue will be closed through Aug. 24.

DETOUR: Drivers may use the east- or westbound Loop 101 off-ramps at 59th Avenue, and travel south to Union Hills Drive, then east to 51st Avenue. 

ADOT advises drivers to slow down and use caution around construction personnel and equipment while work is underway.
