Plan for overnight ramp closures and lane restrictions on I-10 near Marana for pavement improvements beginning March 26

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for the following overnight on- and off-ramp closures on Interstate 10 near Marana, beginning Tuesday, March 26, while crews perform pavement improvements.

The following ramp closures will occur:

  • The westbound I-10 on- and off-ramp at Marana Road (exit 236) will be closed from 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 26, to 6 a.m. Wednesday, March 27.

Detour: Traffic may use Tangerine Road (exit 240) to access Marana Road.

  • The eastbound I-10 on- and off-ramp at Marana Road (exit 236) will be closed from 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 27, to 6 a.m. Thursday, March 28.

Detour: Traffic may use Tangerine Road (exit 240) to access Marana Road.

The following overnight lane restrictions will occur:

  • Westbound I-10 will be narrowed to one lane at Marana Road (exit 236) from 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 26, to 6 a.m. Wednesday, March 27
  • Eastbound I-10 will be narrowed to one lane at Marana Road (exit 236) from 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 27, to 6 a.m. Thursday, March 28.
  • The speed limit will be reduced to 55 miles per hour.

Drivers should proceed through the work zone with caution, slow down and watch for construction personnel and equipment.
