US 60 closure planned between Crismon Road and Loop 202 March 1-4

Nightly lane restrictions also planned Feb. 28 - March 1

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for the following closure on US 60 (Superstition Freeway) in Mesa for pavement improvement work: 

  • Westbound US 60 between Crismon Road and Loop 202 will be closed from 9 p.m. Friday, March 1, through 5 a.m. Monday, March 4. The following ramps also will be closed:
    • The westbound US 60 on-ramps at Ironwood Drive, Meridian, Signal Butte, Crismon and Ellsworth roads 
    • The southbound Loop 202 (SuperRedTan Interchange) ramp to westbound US 60 

Detours: Drivers can consider using Southern Avenue or Broadway Road to connect with their destinations to the north of US 60 and Baseline or Guadalupe roads south of US 60.

Nightly lane restrictions Feb. 28 - March 1

  • The westbound US 60 between Loop 202 and Crismon Road will be narrowed to one lane nightly from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. beginning Wednesday, Feb. 28, through the morning of Friday, March 1. 

Upcoming Restrictions/Closures:

  • Eastbound US 60 between Loop 202 and Crismon Road will be closed from 9 p.m. Friday, March 8, through 5 a.m. Monday, March 11.

ADOT advises drivers to slow down and use caution around construction personnel and equipment while work is underway.
