Plan for intermittent lane closures on north- and southbound SR 85 in Buckeye Feb. 11

Drivers should expect heavy delays and allow extra travel time

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan ahead for intermittent lane closures on north- and southbound State Route 85 in Buckeye from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 11.

Utility workers are scheduled to do aerial crossings between milepost 150 and Baseline Road (milepost 151).

Motorists should plan for 15-minute road closures. Flaggers will direct traffic.

ADOT reminds motorists to plan for heavy delays, proceed through the work zone with caution, slow down and watch for construction personnel and equipment.
