Dear IFTA Carrier,

The due date for your IFTA quarterly report and payment for the 3rd Quarter 2023 has been extended until November 14, 2023. Any report that is filed after this one-time grace period will incur penalty & interest in the manner described below. A report is required even if you had no activity during the 3rd quarter.

Very important: Before you can submit your report online, you will need to fill out the following form at AZ MVD Now Administrator Access Designation Form and submit it to AccountSupport@azdot.gov. Please note, this is only a one time submission to get your account set up, once this is done you may self-serve going forward.

As an alternative, you may choose to submit your 3rd quarter 2023 report via mail. The report form is attached and it can also be accessed at IFTA Use Fuel Tax Report. If you choose to submit a paper report, it will be considered timely if it is postmarked by November 14, 2023. You may also email the report to itax@azdot.gov by November 14, 2023.

The IFTA annual interest rate of 8% became effective 1/1/2023 and will apply to any late reports in addition to a $50 or 10% penalty, whichever is greater. Failure to file your report by the extended date of November 14, 2023 will result in the suspension of your IFTA license and you will need to purchase trip permits if you choose to travel between jurisdictions.

If you need assistance with your report, please call the Fuel Tax Reporting Unit at 602.712.8473 or email at itax@azdot.gov. If you have questions about gaining access to your account in AZMVDNow or about the Administrator Access Designation Form, please call 602.712.6775 or email at mvdmcs@azdot.gov.

IF YOU HAVE PREVIOUSLY FILED YOUR QUARTERLY REPORT FOR the 3rd QUARTER 2023, YOU MAY DISREGARD THIS NOTIFICATION.
