The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for the following restrictions on State Route 347 as crews continue work on the John Wayne Parkway (SR 347) Improvements project in Maricopa:
- Northbound SR 347 will be reduced to one lane from Smith Enke Road to north of the city limits, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m daily from Tuesday, Oct. 24, through Thursday, Oct. 26.
- In addition, the northbound left-turn lane to westbound Cobblestone Farms Drive (at the Cobblestone Farms Drive/Lakeview Drive intersection) will be closed for several weeks beginning Tuesday, Oct. 24.
- Southbound SR 347 will be reduced to one lane from north of the city limits to the Cobblestone Farms Drive/Lakeview Drive intersection from 5 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 24, and Thursday, Oct. 26.
- Beginning Tuesday, Oct. 24, southbound SR 347 will have two lanes of through traffic, along with a temporary dedicated left-turn lane onto eastbound Lakeview Drive.
ADOT advises drivers to slow down and use caution around construction personnel and equipment while work is underway.
