The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to prepare for lane restrictions and on- and off-ramp closures on State Route 79 starting Monday, Oct. 2, through Monday, Oct. 30, while maintenance crews complete a paving project.
Work is scheduled Mondays through Fridays from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. beginning at milepost 138, just north of Florence and continuing to the US 60 junction.
ADOT advises drivers to plan for heavy delays, obey posted speed limits and detour signs, and use caution around construction personnel.
