Southbound I-17 closed between Greenway Road and Northern Avenue the weekend of March 31-April 3

Southbound overnight lane restrictions also scheduled this week (March 28-31)

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for southbound Interstate 17 to be closed for pavement work between Greenway Road and Northern Avenue from 9 p.m. Friday, March 31, to 5 a.m. Monday, April 3. The following ramps also will be closed:

• The southbound I-17 on-ramps at Union Hills Drive and Bell Road

Nightly Lane Restrictions March 28-31

Southbound I-17 will be narrowed to two lanes between Thunderbird Road and  Dunlap Avenue nightly from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. beginning Tuesday, March 28, to the morning of Friday, March 31. The following ramps also will be closed:

• The southbound I-17 on- and off-ramps at Cactus Road and Peoria Avenue
• The northbound I-17 ramps to east- and westbound Loop 101

ADOT advises drivers to slow down and use caution around construction personnel and equipment while work is underway.
